What the Gym Feels Like for Seniors

LIFT Lincoln is a private membership gym. It is small on purpose. You will never deal with crowds, loud music, or rows of confusing machines. Just a clean, welcoming space where you can train at your own pace.

As a member, you have access to the gym and all its equipment. If you want coaching, Marissa is right there. She can walk you through movements, build you a program, or just check in on your form. The support is there when you want it.

Many of our older members start with a few coached sessions to learn the equipment and build a routine. From there, some continue with regular coaching and some train independently. Either way, you belong here.

The gym runs by appointment, so you are never fighting for space. It is quiet, private, and designed for people who want to focus on getting stronger without the chaos of a big gym.

Marissa trains members from their 20s through their 80s. Age is not a limitation here. It is just another part of who you are.

Most gyms for seniors in Rhode Island offer two options: a group fitness class or a massive open floor where nobody knows your name. LIFT is neither.

LIFT Lincoln is a private membership gym. You join, you come in, and you train in a space that feels like yours. There are no packed floors, no blaring TVs, and no pressure to keep up with anyone.

If you want coaching, Marissa is available for one-on-one sessions or small groups of two. She will build a program around your body, your goals, and whatever you are dealing with that day. Stiff shoulder? She works around it. Feeling strong? She will challenge you. Recovering from a procedure? She scales everything.

If you prefer to train on your own, that is perfectly fine too. The gym is yours to use. Marissa can set you up with a plan and you can run with it at your own pace.
